Rugby Personalities: Happy Birthday Gary Teichman and Andre Vos

What a pleasure to be able to wish two gentlemen of the game a very Happy Birthday!

Few players epitomise the true character and spirit of rugby as much as the two former Springbok captains, Gary Teichman and Andre Vos who share a birthday today.

Agreed Ras

Congrats Vossie and Teich

True servants of SA Rugby left out before their time.

Thanks for the happiness both of you brought.

I can recall the Cats being in a position to leave Vossie out of their squad because of having Rassie, Andre Venter and Joe Van Niekerk available!!!!

That was 2000. And then the players selections were that JVN, Rassie and Andre were voted the best loose trio of the S12 and only one (Andre Venter) got selected for Harry Viljoen's Boks.

Vossie played for the Waratahs that year I think...
